“Oh, good boy, Brucie! Good boy! Just like that!” I moaned, careful not to let him trip me in his excitement as I backed my way to Mom and Daddy's room.
“Yeah,” her dad continued, “I didn’t sleep as good as last night either, not bad, but definitely not feeling as chipper as yesterday,” he finished with a shrug.
“But that was before everything changed with Sophia and Galvin, before you knew what kind of woman I am.
