caelus “All I ever wanted was to change the world, to make it a better place where the weak wouldn’t be stepped on and enslaved, where freedom was a right instead of a privilege. I pushed myself, I struggled, I suffered, all for that goal, and survival is the best I could accomplish? If I have to focus only on survival, to be grateful just for staying alive, then how am I supposed to change anything? How am I any different from those who do nothing to fix this broken, corrupt reality?”

“Let me give you a ride, Jim. You don’t even need to change.” I said thanks and grabbed my stuff. I climbed into the passenger side. Mrs. B. was driving one of the massive cars of the day, a Delta 88 or something. She turned out of the school parking lot, turning away from the the way to my house. “I want to pick up something at my house first. Give you a chance to see where I live.”
“Fight me seriously!” Hearing the voice again, Noah realized it was a woman.“Very well, I’ll fight you. But if you want me to be serious, you have to earn it.”
David’s head jerked up. That was bad, he almost fell asleep in front of the TV. He looked down and saw Sarah fast asleep wrapped around his arm, a bit drool dribbling down from her mouth and onto his shirt.“Hey Sare-Bear,” he nudged her with his free hand. “Time for us to hit the hay.”
