The player is put in the role of the Doctor, in charge of Rhodes Island, an organization tasked with investigating disasters caused by a mysterious ore known as Originium, and aiding those infected by Oripathy, caused by exposure to Originium. As the amnesiac Doctor clad in protective suit, the player is put in control over the characters known as Operators, tasked to eliminate the threats lurking from the rebel group known as Reunion.

The things he did were even worse, the things he did to women, but he was so sure that it was his right, that any wrongdoing could be dismissed, and I wanted that assuredness. Viktor charged towards Noah, sending one of his burning hands forward like a spear, ready to pierce Noah’s gut the way he had Falco’s. He was fast, but not fast enough. Noah grabbed his arm with lightning speed before he could touch him. The whole audience was shocked, but no one more than Viktor.

She heard her dad rummage around the kitchen, cutlery clanked together, and the microwave hummed for a minute or so before he collapsed onto the couch with the bowl of leftover lasagne steaming in his hands. Like muscle memory, he quickly switched on the TV and started wolfing down the food like a starving man. Only after demolishing half the bowl of pasta, barely paying attention to the random game show playing softly in the background did he turn to his daughter and notice the look on her face.
